Buildings and properties on T-points have always raised questions and doubts in the minds of property dealers, builders and buyers. Most often we do hear about negative energy found in such buildings. Since there have been reiterated mentions of such beliefs and assumptions prevailing before, we need to properly know and understand them.

It is supposed that it’s not comfortable to live in a house that is located at T-junction. They are generally said to be ill-fated and are considered road spears. A road that runs into the face of a plot/house is known as a T-point. Any such road running straight into the face of a house is believed to be a bad omen. Such a road symbolizes a spear that could obstruct the good fortune of house. That’s why the basics of architecture recommend avoiding such places. It has been observed in many cases that such houses do not do well. Normally, there are eight types of T-junctions and four of which have less negative effects.

Not all T-junction locations are bad and inauspicious. They are to be judged on the bases of their location in a particular direction. T-points on the side of a plot can be considered by determining the right direction. For instance, a plot having T-point on the two sides is never recommended and is said to be bad for occupant’s health, fortune and relationships.

Top builders in London, for long back, have been following scientific tactics for effective construction work. According to science, energy should flow slowly. And it happens to accelerated while flowing in straight line. It means that when streamlined, its flow becomes destructive and anyone coming in its path is sure to be hit.

A T-junction clearly defines how accelerated energy can be brought to a sudden stop by the house located at the intersection. The occupants are the ones that will bear, to the maximum, the impact of destructive energy.

Logically, too, it makes sense at there have been many cases of car crushing into such homes either due to mechanical malfunctions, drunken driving or simply due to carelessness of drivers. Also during the night time the headlight from vehicle at the intersection can disturb the occupants. If the T-point is located in a busy area then air and noise pollution can affect the health of occupants of the house. Altogether, even surroundings prove to be adverse in such cases!

However, if the T-point is located in the quiet neighborhood, the destructive effect is much lesser. House/plot at the end of the land or at the dead end is also not very auspicious for the occupants. In many cases the street was either closed later on or the house was already situated at the dead end of the street. In such houses the growth of the family was caught up, financial position declined. The elders suffered from melancholia, children left the parents alone. In five cases, the occupants got murdered.

Interestingly in the USA a film titled Last House on Dead End Street (1977) was based on the real life experience of residents of such a house. All said and done, such locations are comfortable for living. Abide by the instructions and flourish; that’s living with architecture.
