Stressed is Desserts Spelled Backwards |
|
One of the easiest ways to relieve stress is to work out... that is, make your way to the kitchen, stretch those limbs and grab that bucket of sweet sweet ice-cream. Chocolate, coffee or better yet, home-made vanilla ice-cream with a delicious chocolate fudge sauce recipe. If you think you'll feel just a little bit guilty indulging in such a sport, go for the fruity flavored ones like strawberry or mango. Ever experience the most orgrasmic ice-cream of them all? Deep fried ice-cream dripping with golden caramel sauce! You haven't lived until you try one of these divine balls of creaminess.
Kneading your way through sugary bread of goodness such as coffee scrolls and the more traditional scones can also beat stress, especially when the end result is having to sample the goods. If you want a quick fix, stir some fun of blueberry muffins, peanutbutter cookies or chocolate brownies.
A word of caution to those treating themselves to the more exotic sweet treats for the first time.Your body may tingle continuously from experiencing such delights as tira misu, sticky date pudding and pineapple upside down cake. Eat slow and take your time enjoying these desserts.
When there's nobody to comfort you in time of need, there's always good ol' comfort food of apple pie, bread and butter pudding or rich, delicious chocolate cake to make you feel better. Nothing like the home baked pleasure of such heavenly delicacies.
Feel good, eat a cake! When was the last time you tasted melt in your mouth sponge cake with fresh cream and strawberries? Whether raditional, comfort food or the new trend of desserts, these glorious food are there to help ease your worries... until reality bites letting you know that you may have to lose a few pounds from having eaten such luscious foods. Either way, don't work yourself into a frenzy, work your way into a sweet sensation. |
