Pass

Place bet
A bet on any of the individual box numbers, for either $5 or $6. Payoff is varied: nine to five on four or ten; seven to five on five or nine; and seven to six on six or eight.
Lay bet
A don’t place bet on any of the individual box numbers for either $7 or $9.
Payoff is varied: one to two on four or ten; four to six on five or nine; and five to six on six or eight. A seven must be thrown before the box number in order for this bet to win.
Buy bet
a place bet with a 5 percent fee added to change payoffs from nine to five to two to one on four or ten; from seven to five to three to two on five or nine; and from seven to six to six to five on six or eight.
Hop bet
a one-toss bet (not yet available in New Jersey, but legal in Las Vegas) on any specific number in only one way. For instance, a five tossed as four-one only! Pays fifteen to one.
Inside bets
a group of bets on the place numbers five, six, eight, and nine. Payoffs as above.
Outside bets
a group of bets on the place numbers four, five, nine, and ten. Payoffs as above.
