Dido Florian Cloud de Bounevialle O'Malley Armstrong, publicly known as Dido was born on 25th December, 1971 in London, England.Dido is an award winning English singer-songwriter.

Dido's Biography

Dido was born on the Christmas Day but she celebrates her birthday on 25th June “official birthday”, following the case of Paddington Beat.Dido was the daughter of William O’Malley Armstrong an Irish publisher and earlier managing director of Sedgwick & Jackson and Clare, a French poet. Dido has an elder brother, Rowland Constantine O’Malley Armstrong who is famous for record producer Rollo.
Dido was given name after legendary Queen of Carthage. As Dido explains:

“To be called one thing and christened another is actually very confusing and annoying. It's one of the most irritating things that my parents did to me.

...Florian is a German man's name. That's just mean. To give your child a whole lot of odd names. They were all so embarrassing. ...I thought it was cruel to call me Dido and then expect me to just deal with it.”

Dido was learned at Westminster School, City of London Girls' and Thornhill Primary. When she was just 5 years old, Dido stole a recorder from the school, then her parents joined her at Guildhall School of Music in London, England. And after some time, Dido had learned to play violin, recorder and the piano. Later she studied law at the Birkbeck, University of London, even as working as a fictional agent. Dido didn’t do the course, and she decided that she will give her total time to music. She learned the guitar and she displayed her talent to viewers throughout her 2004 Life for Rent tour.....more
